We provide our Slinger Signaller Training at your company site, using your equipment. On successful completion of this Slinger Signaller course candidates will be issued with a certificate of training. Refresher training is recommemnded every 5 years. Our governing body is; National Operators Truck Licensing Association (NOTLA)

Course summary

Training starts off around the instructor’s laptop for the health & safety part. Then onto the practical part & assessment. Ideally, we require a room for the theory, and an area away from pedestrains and vehicles for the practical.

Do not worry too much about delays and staff being pulled away etc. as this is expected when doing on-site training. In terms of space, we work with whatever is available.

• Pre-Shift checks & test
• Lift stability – engineering principles and weight assessment
• Rated capacity & load centres
• Operator safety and observation
• Defect reporting procedures
• Manoeuvring skills
