Telehandler course

We provide our Telescopic Handler (Telehandler) training at your company site, using your truck. On successful completion of this Telehandler course candidates will be issued with a certificate of training. We also provide Telehandler training with a bucket attachement and Suspended loads.

Telehandler training categories

J2 - Rough terrain variable reach lift truck – up to 9m lift
J3 - Rough terrain high lift telescopic trucks – above 9m
J6 - Variable reach/tele, 360 slew under 9m lift
J7 - Variable reach/tele, 360 slew over 9m lift
J8 - Articulated Rough terrain Telescopic lift truck

Course levels

Novice: Beginner
Experienced: Good use, but no formal training
Refresher: Renewing a previously obtained certificate (proof required)

Course summary

Training starts off around the instructor’s laptop for the health & safety presentation, followed by a video. Then onto the practical part & assessment. Ideally, we require a room for the theory part, and some empty pallets/suitable loads for the practical.

Do not worry too much about delays and staff being pulled away etc. as this is expected when doing on-site training. In terms of space, we work with whatever is available. Ideally an area to do a figure of eight around two cones is desired.
